Alba Tyre Management was created in the summer of 2004 by company directors, Alex Wilson and Michael Proctor. Both directors have been in the tyre trade for over 20 years. For the 8 year previous to the formation of Alba, they worked together at Europa Retreads, a Bandag retread franchise located in Paisley.

From the conception of Alba, one theme has been prevalent in the minds of both directors, it shall not be just another retread company.

Of course talk is cheap, and it is easy to make plans for a business, then real life gets in the way, but Alba is delivering just what it promised the market place, a retread company with a difference.
